Midwest Classic – 2013

Jamie Lovemark made critical birdies on Nos. 15 and 16 and then made a clutch 15-foot putt on No. 18 to win the 2013 Midwest Classic Presented by Cadillac at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, KS.  Lovemark closed with a 5-under-par 66 for a 72-hole total of 18-under-par 266.  He finished one stroke in front of Mark Anderson, while 54-hole leader Chesson Hadley finished tied for third with Matt Davidson.

At the conclusion ofthe tournament, the PGA requested and received 52 Markline Photo images for their promotional use.  One in particular is interesting.  It shows the winner, Jamie Lovemark with the Tournament trophy as it is being projected on the NASDAQ big screen on Times Square in New York City.  A contact at the PGA had someone take a picture of the picture, and it was then returned as a souvenir.

Below are a few fun images from the tournament.
